#18 Annette

Annette is my cousin on my mom's side of the family. I am lucky enough to have a great family and to have Annette be part of it. I have great memories with Annette. I get to see Annette usually twice a year, once at the cottage during the summer and the other time at Christmas. I remember being little and taking Annette's chair and riding all around the cottage! Annette is probably the best at staying in touch with everyone. I always enjoy getting emails from her and hearing what is going on with her. She is always keeping busy! She is always the first one I get cards from as well for the holidays, which always puts a smile on my face. Annette always has her camera handy too, if it wasn't for Annette I wouldn't have some of the picture I do! Annette has the biggest heart out of anyone I know. I am looking forward to seeing Annette this summer, as I am sure like usual it will be a great time filled with lots of family, fun and laughter!

  1. Hi Cameron-
What a great way to celebrate your birthday! (You have my month-long celebration beat by a mile!)
Thanks so much for your sweet thoughts! I,too, have great memories of family times--especially at the cotttage. I always thought it was great that you liked to ride in my chair when you were little--- it was just a fun set of wheels to you. If I had to pick one memory of you at the cotttage, it would be you running out to the end of the dock to check for softshells. I think you saw that as your job! I think that those times were special because we didn't see each other very often so we all made a point of really enjoying such a relaxing time. There was, as you say, lots of laughter along with great food and just the time to be together. As I get older those times are more and more special. Speaking of getting older---it is hard to believe that you will be 30 next year!! Here is the good news--Life only gets better!!! The more experience you have, the more you know what to focus on and put your energy into versus what doesn't matter much at all. So I wish you not only this year but many years of finding all that is good in life. I know there will be challenges and blessings. May you have whatever you need to meet the challenges and may your blessings be abundantly filled with joy!
    Love you-
    Annette
