#35 Laura K

Laura is the reason I started this blog. She is the originally 365 people to 30 blog. Laura is one of my oldest friends. We ice skated together for a good amount of childhood and teenage years. We spent a lot of time together and eventually we both left skating behind. However, skating was just the base of our friendship. As we got older we went friend doing jumps and spins to "cruising the pike" and baseball games! Laura is one of those friends that has been around for a lot of firsts. First athletic achievements, first dances, first loves, first heart aches, etc. We have great memories...the kneenotes, skating trips, senior week, her wedding.... Laura lives back on the east coast with her husband Ken. They are expecting their first child in the upcoming weeks. I have no doubt that Laura will be a fantastic mother and I can't wait to meet her son and eventually share some stories with him about his mother!!! Its been a couple years when I last saw Laura but whenever I do see her, she is one of those friends that time doesn't matter - which is a sign of a great friendship!
