#23 Linda L

Linda is Nora's mom (see #21) and like I said in Nora's post - she for all purposes - is my Aunt Linda. Many years were spent down in Dewey Beach and with the Lavelle's. Linda and Jim owned the Bottle and Cork, and all the parents spent a good amount of time there! There was one summer Linda injured her foot and was not suppose to be on it at all. If anyone knows Linda, that it was going to be almost impossible to keep her from doing things. I ended up staying with them for part of that summer and helping her out. She was always very sneaky...I would come back from an errand and she was be up and about cleaning the kitchen! Oh and I would catch her too! Great times were spent with the Lavelles, whether it was on vacations, in Dewey or Point to Point. She is always very spunky - so if you go to the Bottle and Cork on a Monday night for the Grease Band - you will see Linda at the door!
